My jewelry making skills…..

This week has been kinda slow….at least in the way of projects! I shipped a few items out on Monday, but then the rain really set in….which leaves painting the trays and handles for the sunny days that are to come…. (hopefully soon!)

So, while stuck inside….with my restless need to create stuff…..I have been working on my jewelry making skills. I really like charm bracelets, so I was excited to find a charm style bracelet with blanks that I could resin color blocks, letters, images, etc on! And since I LOVE college football, what better way to get ready for the upcoming season than make something that I could wear to tailgating and the games!?!

I created one Garnet and Gold-plated version that didn’t have any bling (husband says he prefers this one!)

I also made one (that I prefer!) that is silver and covered in charms and FSU colored beads and crystals.

Both can be found in my Shaded Lines Etsy store! Keep an eye out for the Garnet and Gold plated charm version….I just have to make one of those for me, too! And it will be covered in charms, beads, and crystals!

About shadedlinescreations

I have been interested in the arts for longer than I can remember. I can’t dance, I can’t sing….so that just left creating something tangible and aesthetically pleasing. Having a bachelor’s in graphic communications, I’ve worked as a graphic designer or creative director for the past 10 years. I have now decided to branch out and embrace 3D design…something in college I completely didn’t understand and hated going to the class! However, rather than covering chairs in crayons or fabricating statues out of cardboard, I have chosen to create items that can be used and treasured for years to come. Each tile, coaster or piece that you see in the gallery or on my etsy store has been customized, and can even feature your own personal images if you so desire. So look around, get some ideas and let me take them to the next level by actually making them for you!
